Work with the horses for hands-on experience while learning about horse behavior, safety when working with horses, offering Reiki to horses, and how horses are teachers and communicators. This is a limited space workshop for safety and comfort doing the practical work with the horses, so sign up soon.  Lunch will be provided.

Sharyn Madison is a Reiki Master Teacher & Intuitive.  She regularly teaches workshops about Animal Communication and improving your intuitive connection to animals.  She is a regular practitioner at Irish Spring Farm providing energy healing to several of the horses there.  

Colleen Hanly-Price is a Certified Riding Instructor specializing in Centered Riding® techniques with an emphasis on recreational and trail riders.  She focuses on returning adult riders and youth riders.  She is a Level II Reiki Practitioner.

This unique workshop offers the opportunity to learn more about these beautiful creatures. The workshop begins with an introduction to the horses that will be working with you in the hands on session.  You will discuss the basics of horse behavior based in the predator prey relationship and herd dynamics.  Opportunities to observe the body language of horses will be provided throughout the workshop.  Hands on sessions with the horses will be the focus of the afternoon with opportunities to both provide Reiki and observe reiki sessions.  You must be a currently certified Reiki practitioner to provide treatment.  Non certified participants will be able to evaluate responses by the practitioner and horses during the sessions.

Safety aspects of working with and around the horses will be covered as part of the workshop.  All participants must wear appropriate barnwear including, hard sole shoe or boot with good tread and socks, long pants or jeans, long or short sleeve shirt (no tank tops or crops) and hat or hair band for long hair. 

The weather is variable in May so please consider that the workshop is held entirely outdoors and will run rain or shine or snow ;-).  An indoor arena is available but it is not heated.
